Freshmen Students are required to complete:

One School Sponsored service project AND

A second School Sponsored service project or 10 hours of pre-approved Independent Service

(Min. one option completed each semester)

Guidelines:

Freshmen have the option of completing both semester requirements during the first semester.

Summer service hours due: September 8, 2020

First semester service hours due: January 5, 2021

Second semester service hours due: May 18, 2021

Credit Slips are always due on the Tuesday following the contracted service project date.

Christian Service Conditions :

1. My service will be offered to non-family members.

2. My service will be offered outside of Central Catholic High School.

3. My service is for a non-profit group/organization whose work aligns with Catholic teaching.

4. My service will not be performed while school is in session.

5. My service is not linked, directly or indirectly, to any political campaign.

6. I understand that Christian Service is an academic requirement graded on a Pass/No Pass basis.

7. I understand that if my Christian Service hours are not completed by the corresponding semester due date, I will forfeit my participation in any school sponsored co-curricular activity until my service hours have been completed and submitted.
